Spanaway Washington Post Office

October 9, 2012 By David W. Gates Jr.

Spanaway WA Post Office 98387
Spanaway WA Post Office 98387

ADDRESS: 16815 Pacific Ave. S., Spanaway, Washington 98387

This was a post office I visited upon completing my hike in 2010. I drove to Mt. Rainier NP and along the way stopped at several post offices.

It was challenging to get an un-obstructed photo of the exterior of this building. I had to settle for some close-ups.

Thanks,

David W. Gates Jr.

Ashford Washington Post Office

October 8, 2012 By David W. Gates Jr.

ADDRESS: 30312 State Route 706 E., Ashford, Washington 98304

As you head to Mt. Rainier National Park you pass through the small town of Ashford. This was my post hike excursion after completion of my 2010 Pacific Crest Trail hike. I was headed to the park to visit a friend and of course to take pictures of the post offices along the way. Ok, so it’s time to start showing off those Washington Post Office I captured in 2010.

Sitting along route 706 into the park, it is the last place to get gas as I also found out. I stopped into the visitors center peeked around and proceeded into the park. Talk about a nice scenic drive, well this is it. I was also hoping to see the top of Mt. Rainier. Anyone familiar with it knows that most of the time its hidden in clouds. If you want to know the real reason I drove to Mt. Rainier it was procrastinate getting back to a more “real” life back home. Since I was a stones throw away and friends to see, it was a no brainer. I really enjoyed my visit and lucky for me was able to get a photograph of the Ashford post office building for you all to enjoy.

Thanks,

David W. Gates Jr.
