Ohio Post Offices
ADDRESS: 250 S. Hallett Ave., Swanton, Ohio 43558
The Swanton Post Office is not to far from my girlfriends parents house. As we were leaving Ohio, we stopped to get a picture. A simple painting on the wall read “we’re high on service”. I enjoy finding surprises like this during my visits.
I did not notice a dedication plaque at this location.

Driving to Ohio for Christmas this year we passed through a small town called West Unity Ohio. The post office is right downtown among the rest of the business. As we stopped for a quick break I decided to capture a picture.
The lobby was opened but I did not see any dedication plaque. As I was leaving a man was approaching the post office. I received stares as I was setting the up tripod to take my self-portrait. I smiled, took my picture and packed up. I wonder what he was thinking? Why is this guy taking a picture of himself in front of our post office? One can only wonder.

Looking for the historic former Monclova Post Office?
Today I went for a walk. It was after dinner and I needed to stretch my legs. This holiday weekend I’m at my girlfriends parents house in Ohio. I’m excited because this will be my first article of an Ohio post office.
So I jumped on the bike trail next to their house. I wasn’t sure how long it was going to take to get there. I arrived just before dark and took a few pictures. The lobby was closed but I could see the dedication plaque on the wall inside. I’ll have to come back to get a good picture of it. I’m sure I’ll be back in the future so I wasn’t disappointed in not getting all the pictures I usually take.
