ADDRESS: 2733 W. Comet Rd., Port Clinton, Ohio 44216
I was surprised how busy this post office was when I visited. It was really windy too. I got out of my car headed across the street and waited for the perfect time to get a photograph. Little did I realize how long I’d be waiting because I really froze my butt off. Anyway, here is the Port Clinton Ohio post office. No mural but a nice wpa era building with a corner-stone.

Republic Ohio Post Office
ADDRESS: 300 Madison St., Republic, Ohio 44867
As I was walking up to the front entrance I had my camera and tripod in my hands. A very lively local noticed and started asking me questions. She really seemed interested in finding out what I was doing. I explained I’m a photographer and specialize in taking pictures of post offices.
I think she was nervous that I might be working for the post office and wanted to close it. She said something about hoping they don’t close her post office. I assured her I’m hopping they don’t close it either.
I like meeting and talking to the locals. I’m especially happy when they engage me and show interest. Maybe is because they really are worried or maybe they are the talks of the town. Either way its nice to be recognized if only for a moment.
