Montana Post Offices

Driving around Montana was fun. Since I’m from the mid-west, where there are no mountains, I enjoyed the scenic drive along Flathead Lake. The town of Big Arm was one of the towns I passed through during my two-day tour. The building is perched on a hill along the main road.

During my two-day road trip I stopped at several post offices. The Columbia Falls post office did not appear to be a newer building but the signage was the newer USPS logo.

So this is another one of those photographs where I felt really awkward. Several people were parked in the immediate area. So when I got out and started taking pictures of the building, you can imagine I ended up getting lots of stares and looks as I was working.
Funny but I just stared right back and waved, then went about my job of photographing the Basin MT Post Office.
