Minnesota post offices

ADDRESS: 5321 W. Highway 61, Lutsen, Minnesota 55612

We drove through Lutsen on our why to Grand Portage. I had to stop and take a picture. This was another funny moment. As I was standing in front of the building a man drove up, parked, smiled and said something like “I bet that’s the smallest post office you’ve seen” I laughed and took my picture.

Little did he know that this is not the smallest I’ve seen or the funniest moment. This is fun, I thought to myself. I need to think of a funny response for moments like this.

ADDRESS: 77 Mile Creek Rd., Grand Portage, Minnesota 55605

Grand Portage was our destination for our May 2012 Isle Royale hike. The Voyager II is docked here and the main ferry to the island. Grand Portage is a small compact town complete with a casino. No, sadly I did not visit the casino on this trip. I’m not much of a gambler.
