Something about the word Savanna and the look of this post office reminds me of the south. When I think about the old colonial homes, white pillars always come to mind. The front entrance of the Savanna Post Office is very inviting with the central stair case and half circle window above the door.

One thing that would make this an outstanding post office would be a wonderful mural or artwork. Sadly, no mural or other forms of artwork found here.

Isn’t this the name of a clothing company? And didn’t I used to wear Polo shirts in high school? I may be dating myself but that’s what came to my mind as I visited this one. It was getting late in the day when I made it to Polo. The lobby was already closed and in Polo they also lock the front doors. I was slightly disappointed since I could see the dedication plaque on the wall.

Yep! I had to do one of those zoom into the front window to get the photograph. Oh well Here is the Polo Post Office.
