Erie Pennsylvania Former Post Office – Guest

ADDRESS: 1314 Griswold Plaza RM 105, Erie, PA 16501

Erie’s Former PO is at Griswold Station.  This was the Main PO in Erie from 1932-2002. This building is now an IRS office. Prior to it being a PO it was a cab depot.

The Eben Brewer Statue in front of the Griswold Station (Erie) Post Office, he was the United States First Mail Agent who served in Cuba until his passing in 1898.

The West Virginia collection starts in White Sulpher Springs and flows to towns near Charleston and ultimately to the Morgantown area.

* Monongalia Arts Center; built 1913 and served as the former Main PO in Morgantown through 1973.  It’s located downtown and is a Nationally Registered United States Landmark.  In 1978, the MAC opened.
