Post offices with dedication plaques.

Another one of my road trips in early 2012. By this time I had stopped a lot of post offices. Nobody else was around at the time so I have no thrilling stories for this one. Anybody else like this one?

Another stop during a recent trip to Indiana was the Garfield Station. I have a confession to make, I shot the dedication plaque through the window. The lobby was closed but I really wanted a picture so I just zoomed in and shot the picture. Turned out pretty good don’t you think?

The Rainbow Station was another post office I visited during a recent road trip to Indiana. You’ll notice the dedication plaque is built right into the front of the building (To the right of the door in picture above). I have seen this at a few buildings now. I wonder who made the decision to put the plaque on the outside? Most are in the lobby. Just an observation I’ve made.
