Post offices with dedication plaques.

It was winter when I visited this one. It was cold, and this is another post office. I don’t remember spending a lot of time on this one. At some point when you are collecting photographs you just want to get in, take the pictures and leave. This was one of those times.

Address: 150 N. 4th St., Hamilton, Montana 59840
Right behind the former post office is the newer Hamilton Post Office. The original building is on 4th st street right in the downtown section of Hamilton. When the post office out-grew the original building they built an addition right behind the old post office.
What you are looking at is the addition and new lobby of the Hamilton MT post office and the large parking lot.

ADDRESS: 200 Main St., Wisdom, Montana 59761
Driving to the Wisdom, MT post office was quite interesting. The day I drove here it was warm and sunny. The interesting thing was there were about 10 or 15 motorcycles parked in the middle of the town.
Wisdom being a very small town there was only a gas station, post office and some other buildings. When I approached, all the bikers were kinda standing around the gas station. It felt really weird to getting out of the car taking pictures of the post office. I ended up getting gas here to make myself feel more in place.
I took my pictures and went about my business. And that my friends is what it’s like sometimes taking photographs of post office in small town America,
