Post offices with dedication plaques.

Today’s featured post office is Potosi Wisconsin. Is it just me? or does it look like a washer and drying in the reflection of the front doors? Funny!! But as I’m editing this post that was the first thing I saw. Oh maybe its the wine.!!

ADDRESS: 235 Forest St., Wausau, Wisconsin 54403

I made a special trip to Wausau, looking for the mural. My research told me there was a mural in the post office. Little did I know that I would be spending a day trying to find this one. My first stop once I arrived in Wausau was the current post office on Forest street. The postal employees were really helpful but didn’t know anything about the mural in the old building.

Since the library was right across the street from the original building I decided to stop in and do a little research. The folks at this library were really helpful but knew very little about the mural. Why is it so hard to find information about this one.

The original post office is on First Street and is now an apartment building. And yes the mural is still in the original building.
