This is the Springfield Illinois, (Downtown Station) post office. In April of 2009 my nephew and I took the train to visit. The main reason was to visit the Lincoln museum. If you ever get the chance to visit Springfield, it I highly recommend it. It is very entertaining and nicely done. There is lots to do in Springfield including, visiting Lincoln’s home and the National Park visitors center.
