Today’s featured post office is South Beloit. Funny when I was first taking pictures. I headed over to the Beloit Wisconsin Post Office. It didn’t even occur to me that the South Beloit post office is really in Illinois. I ended up saving all my images in the Wisconsin Folder on my computer. Now that I’m posting it as the featured post office for today, I realized it’s actually Illinois and not Wisconsin. Just happens when you take so many photos and aimless drive around close to the border of neighboring states.

  1. Interesting that no zip code is on the front of the building. Many post offices built before zip codes (1963) had the zip code numbers added later, but not in South Beloit.
