Seattle Washington (Midtown) Post Office

Ah! downtown Seattle, what a place. It is funny but I didn’t want my “vacation/sabbatical” to end. I found visiting Seattle a great way to procrastinate before heading back to the midwest.  It only made sense after all I was already in the area.

I enjoyed the tourist activities, such as Pike’s Market, the original Starbucks and the famous Seattle Underground tour. Of course I also had to get a few post office visits in there too.  Seattle was definitely a great place to top off the completion of my 2010 PCT hike. I look forward to visiting again in the future.

Thanks,

David W. Gates Jr.

I always compared Seattle as a little San Francisco…..just because of the hilly streets in the downtown area.

Funny! I never thought of it that way. But you are right. It does have the hilly feel to winding way about it. I’d love to go back. It really is a nice area.
