A post office in a Barn? Yes, it is true, sometimes you even find post offices in strange places. Powers Lake, Wisconsin is one example.

My girlfriend and I both chuckled as we ran across this one. Peering through the window its finished just like any other post office. It would be funny if you could like order a dozen eggs when you purchase your stamps. I’m just saying!!!

  1. Now that is a really cool one. In Jersey I came across an office whose address is literally that of a farm; lo and behold the P.O. was in a remade chicken coop! This one is absolutely fantastic.

  2. That post office is just right down the road from me. When we first moved here I laughed at the sight and thought of a post office in a barn..still do today
