Celebrating our Nation's Post Offices
ADDRESS: 1237 Weisgarber Rd, Knoxville, TN 37950
Tennessee post offices combines the old and new with the modern ones from 2000 and some like the Downtown Knoxville which opened in 1932. The Main Post Office in Knoxville has a postal museum in the lobby. Knoxville—Main PO built 1986.

STATUS: The Woodsfield post office is still an active, operating facility, and the carving can be viewed by interested members of the public. It resides in the lobby on the wall above the postmaster’s door.
YEAR: 1941
Another beautiful day for photographing post offices. This was another stop during my October 2022 road trip.
Great to see a wood carving, most as you know are murals and painted on canvas. This one is wood and on the larger size with a lot of detail.

Sometimes I get busy and and forget a building or two. Apparently, I visited Antwerp in 2015 but never created the article. I found it as I was sorting and cataloging my recent Ohio photos.
