Just about every Michigan post office I have in my collection is from our road trip to South Haven’s Blueberry festival. When your collection adds up to hundreds of photos it takes some time to view and edit them all.

Bangor is a post office we stopped at during our Blueberry festival weekend. Unfortunately, it was after business hours when I visited. Notice the picture of the dedication plaque through the front window.
It was amusing trying to get my self-portrait in front of the building. There were several people across the street talking by a restaurant or some small business. Once I started setting up the tripod in the middle of the street I kind of felt like I was getting strange looks. Then again, maybe it was just my imagination.

Several post offices we visited during our blueberry festival road trip looked exactly like this. Each being the same shape and having the same orange brick facade. Just another one of those observations you make as you photograph post offices. Not taking toll roads and driving the roads less traveled is how you find these nice little towns.
