Illinois Post Offices

ADDRESS: 104 S. Walnut St., Lindenwood, Illinois 61049

After a while I don’t remember what it was like visiting some of the towns. Could this be because I’m on a mission to get as many as possible while on the road or is it just a town not worth writing about? I admit I have not done any homework on Lindenwood and to be honest not too sure of its history.

But I do know that I was in one of my rushes to get as many as I could while visiting Lindenwood. So here is their post office.

ADDRESS: 200 Main St., Monroe Center, Illinois 61052

What struck me as odd, in a good way, is this is a large and tall building. Monroe Center is not a very big town. Maybe it had high hopes of being a large city. But at the time I visited and in 2012, it’s a relatively smaller town. Not a bad thing it’s just an observation I made.

I like this one, It has character standing tall.

ADDRESS: 7101 W. Gunnison St., Harwood Heights, Illinois 60706

Just another beautiful summer day taking pictures of post offices. I was bored so I put a bicycle in front to add some ambiance to the photograph. Ok, well not really it was just a patron visiting but hey its not just a post office picture now. Is a picture of post office with a bicycle in front.
