What a beauty, check out the patina on those light fixtures? I have to say you have a national treasure here. Well maybe not, but one mans garbage is another mans treasure could apply here. I mean the post office did outgrown this building but it appears another business moved in. It’s nice to see the building still standing. Although it is among much larger buildings and parking structures, at least it’s still there.

This was a random stop. My cousin and I were driving home from our Aunts house one weekend. Since I had driving past one of the larger buildings the prior week I was trying to recall what streets we were on. Since I couldn’t remember I we drove around looking for it, and ended up finding this one.

So we were driving around St. Louis and apparently getting lost. Some how got on the bridge back into Illinois and found the Venice post office. I was like oh cool, there is the post office. I remember it being a warm and humid day.

Funny you can see my reflection in the window.
