Hello Lombard, I’m fighting to find kind words to really get people excited about this one? Or maybe its just a lost cause. But here is the photo of the day. The Lombard Illinois Post Office. I had to stop and check out those very large blue letters.

UNITED STATES POST OFFICE, in the computer world this is equivalent to yelling at someone. I don’t know what brought this up but its one of the first things I though when I first saw it.

ADDRESS: 757 Du Page Blvd., Glen Ellyn, Illinois 60137

Quite different from its downtown sibling, is the Glen Ellyn Illinois Post Office. Another bitterly cold day in January when I visited. Have you been to this post office? What can you tell me about it? Stay tuned for the historic downtown Glen Ellyn Post Office.

ADDRESS: 1130 W. Washington St., West Chicago, Illinois 60185

Could you get more west than this one? West Chicago, West Washington St. Is the entrance of the building on the west side of building? Does the postmaster office window face west? I’m just curious I mean after all its just a westerly kind of place. When a person ask for directions do you respond with head west out of the parking lot? Just so many questions. Can you help me answer them?
