Do you ever take a picture and say to yourself, “I”ll get around to writing about it soon”? Well that was the case when I took this photo of the former Woodstock, Illinois Post Office. I originally took this photo almost a year ago, got busy and forgot to post it.

Some post offices just sort of stick out for me. I think I have a preference towards brick and stone buildings. That is one of the reasons I can say why I like the looks of the Salem facility. It may also be the low profile design of the structure too. At any rate, the New Deal building was decommissioned and the is the replacement.
