Chicago Old Main Post Office
ADDRESS: 433 W. Van Buren Street, Chicago, IL 60607
Recently I was downtown and had an extra few minutes to visit this massive building. I had my son with me an he wanted to take a few pictures of me. Awesome, we have a new post office enthusiast in training.
This building is massive and the new owners have done a great job restoring and preserving the lobby. I love the decorative transportation themed brass squares on the wall.
It was a bit disappointing to see the cornerstone covered by the railing, but hey at least it is still there.
