Arizona Post Offices

Another image I found in my archives. This photo of the Quartzsite, Arizona post office was taking during my visit to Arizona in the winter of 2004. During this trip we also visited several other towns. At the time I was not into looking around for dedication plaques, unique features or artwork. I’m unsure if this one has any of those.

I do remember it being a pretty busy post office this time of year. There were lots of retired folks from all over. I remember seeing licence plates from Canada, Washington, Illinois. I imagine this place is a lot quieter during the hotter summer months.

Looking through some of my archives I stumbled across this photo of the Wellton, AZ post office. My parents are snowbirds and headed to Arizona for the winter of 2004.

I decided to visit them and Wellton was one of the post offices we drove past. Since this was one of my early photos and I was just getting used to taking pictures, I did not have any interest in looking around. I have no idea if there is a dedication plaque, art work or any other interesting facts about this one. All I have is this souvenir photo that I’ve been to Wellton, AZ.
