ADDRESS: 48 S Broadway, Nyack, NY 10960

TITLE: Scenes of Local History in The Colonial Period
MEDIUM: Oil on canvas (murals)
STATUS: The Nyack post office is still an active, operating facility, and the murals can be viewed by interested members of the public. They reside in the lobby on a walls above the retail counter and post office boxes.
YEAR: 1937
Nyack opened in 1932. It’s located downtown and was registered as a National Landmark in 1988. The three murals are symbols of the historical moments along the Hudson River. The post office is located up the block from the Hudson.

Eatonville is a predominately African-American town which was founded by freemen in the late 1887. It’s located about seven miles north of Orlando.

Florida’s former post office is on the street level, it’s on the left side.

ADDRESS: 8840 164th St, Queens, NY 11432
Jamaica’s main post office opened in 1932 and takes up a city block. It was named a Nationally Registered Landmark in 1988. Jamaica is a section of Queens.

Maybrook opened in 1970. Its lobby dedicates photos of the town’s veterans.
