MEDIUM: Plaster (relief)
STATUS: The Suffern post office is still an active, operating facility, and the relief can be viewed by interested members of the public. It resides in the lobby on a wall above the postmaster’s door.
YEAR: 1936

Southfield’s post office appears to be an old house. The postal clerk wasn’t sure how long it’s been a post office but how many PO’s do you see with a chimney and fireplace. It’s unique.

Rock Tavern post office opened in 1961. The postal clerks there are very friendly and recommended other post offices I visit in the area.
