Murray, Kentucky; old Post Office History; it was built in 1931 and was the post office until 1980. It’s still in use as a Fiscal Court. It is across from the Calloway County Courthouse. The current Murray post office opened in 1980.

Hopkinsville; old post office; opened in 1915 and served in that capacity until 1967. In 1974 it and to this day, it is the Pennroyal Area Museum which honors the history of the area. A semblance of the post office is in the lobby.
