Former Campbell Ohio Post Office – Guest

February 12, 2020 By Roger

Former Campbell OH Post Office
Former Campbell OH Post Office

ADDRESS: 57 Robinson Rd., Campbell, OH 44405
ARTIST: Joseph Walter
TITLE: Iron and Steel Industry
MEDIUM: Terra-cotta relief
STATUS: No longer a post office, I feel the photos speak for themselves. This makes me sad.
YEAR: 1941

Thank you to Roger for sending in the images of the Former Campbell, Ohio post office building.

I’m delighted to have the images, but sad to see the condition of the building. Roger sent these to me almost two years ago, but some how I overlooked them and never got to post them.

As the saying goes, better late than never.

What a treat today, another great stop by our contributing Post Office Fan Roger. Thanks for sharing.

Attached are several photos of the Post Office in Honesdale, PA.  It was built in 1935; however, since the cornerstone looks newer, parts of the building may have been remodeled. You’re going to love this building! They’re 5 murals inside and many photos of the building’s construction. Plus I photographed a write-up describing the murals.  Feel free to post as much as you want onto your website. I may post a few on Twitter myself.  I’ll send you a separate email with more photos.

Best regards,
Roger
