Today’s featured post office is Western Springs. Even though I’m from Illinois, I’m still amazed at the towns and places. As the Illinois tourism states “Mile after Magnificent mile”.

ADDRESS: 121 W. Hillgrove Ave., La Grange, IL 60525
I can’t tell you how long I waited on this Saturday in October of 2013 to get these photos. Apparently La Grange is a busy place and this particular Saturday it was no different. Every time a car pulled away, another car pulled up. It was almost like people knew I wanted this shot and were doing everything they could to prevent me from getting it.
What a great building. I’d like to know more about it. It appears the corner-stone was re-done. It just looks to new to me. What do you think? Do you know if the corner-stone was re-done after the 1940’s.
