Celebrating our Nation's Post Offices

Today’s featured post office is Tullahoma Tennessee. Talk about a busy place, I didn’t even wait around at this one to get a full building photograph. I just took my close up and was on my way. I was happy to see a dedication plaque, a classic 1980’s building. Yeah for the 80’s.

This is the first time I’ve seen the larger dedication plaques on the outside of the building. I was a little surprised and excited when I visited this one. The only drawback, it was extremely busy. I sat around for a long time but was never able to get a clear un-obstructed photo of the front of this building. I kept telling myself it will eventually slow down and I’ll get my shot. Well, that never happened. So you see the close up photos below are a result of this. Sometimes that’s what happens when you are a freak of post offices.

ADDRESS: 426 1st Ave., Dayton, Tennessee 37321
This is a newer building, and it was a challenge to photograph. It was so busy the day I visited I had to settle for the close up photos you see here. Because the building is so large cars were parking all around the two sides of the building. I was patient thought I waited around, but eventually gave in. I wanted to stop at more so I couldn’t allow myself to stay a really long time.
