Celebrating our Nation's Post Offices
ADDRESS: 319 Highland Dr., Kohler, Wisconsin 53044
The Kohler post office is a part of the local government building. There are other agencies in the same building. The inside of the post office is actually really small. I wanted in the lobby to get a picture of the dedication plaque. I felt rude asking people to move so I just waited. And some times that just the way it is.

Finding post offices is sometimes frustrating. The downtown Janesville post office is a perfect example. I must have drove past this building two or thee times looking for any sign of a post office. What did I eventually do?, you guessed it. I parked the car and started walking. I wasn’t really prepared to find it inside a mall, but that is exactly where this one is located. Inside this multi-use mall sort of building.
I’m glad I didn’t give up on this one. I was rewarded with a few nice old framed photographs on the wall of the lobby. It is always a treat to see old artifacts and pictures like this. Thanks to the person or people who made this possible.

Another post office I visited while in Wisconsin. I was actually on my way home from volunteering on the Ice Age Trail. I figured since I was up north I’d take some extra time and get a few post offices. Nice small town, do you know any interesting facts about it?
