Celebrating our Nation's Post Offices

It was another beautiful day driving around Missouri. We found the Center Post Office stopped and took a few pictures. What do you know about this one? Any other stories you would like to share with us?

ADDRESS: 1128 N. Market St., Memphis, Missouri 63555
So as my girlfriend and I were driving around Missouri we kept driving through all these towns that sounded like other places outside of Missouri. Take Memphis for instance. I joked about taking her to Memphis. I think we also passed through another town Paris. So It was almost like were were world travelers in one weekend.
Anyway, here is the Memphis Missouri post office. I don’t have the Memphis TN post office yet. I guess I’ll have to plan another road trip.

ADDRESS: 306 Route 79, Annada, Missouri 63330
I almost drove right past this one and had to do a double take. We actually turned the car around because I thought it looked a lot like a post office. I really didn’t know until we took a closer look. Sad to see that it was closed but with a population of only 29 in 2010, I can’t say I blame the USPS for closing it.
Does anyone out there know when it opened? Or when it closed. I didn’t see much else to this town that would even look to like a historical society or any other major services.
