I can hardly believe the year has almost ended. I’d like to celebrate by showcasing a post office I stopped at during my 2010 Pacific Crest Trail Hike. The trail heads right through Seiad Valley which is one of the reason I was able to get this photograph.

Seiad Valley is also known for another interesting fact. Its home to the Pancake Challenge. The store/diner serves up 5 one pound pancakes for hungry patrons. If you can manage to put it all away in one sitting you get them for free. Did I attempt this challenge you ask? Oh course I did. Did I finish this meal. Well, no but I had fun doing it.

Saint Louis Benton Park Station Missouri Post Office

During or visit to Missouri we stopped at a few post offices. The Benton Park Station was just one of them. How can you visit St Louis without stopping by the Jefferson Expansion Memorial? If you ever get the chance I highly recommend it. Unless of course you are claustrophobic. Those tiny pods that take you to the top are quite small.
