So I’m sitting in the car waiting for this one car to move so I can get a clean photo of the building. Well, as you can see it never happened. There is only so much time I’m willing to spend waiting for that perfect shot, especially when I’m out trying to get as many as I can.

I was the weekend and I didn’t anticipate this car moving since directly across the street were residential housing. So I took what I could get and left it at that. The dedication plaque is great, 1959.

It was late as I was driving home from volunteering on the Ice Age Trail again. I passed right by this one as the sun was setting. I had to stop and photograph it.

ADDRESS: 113 Penobscot Ave., Millinocket, Maine 04462

Another post office stop after hiking the Appalachian trail in 2007. I was lucky enough to get several post office in Maine. Can’t wait to get back to this part of the country. The history is intriguing and the landscapes beautiful.
