Welcome to another Post Office Freak Saturday. This is the one day of the week when I like to highlight some of the more interesting post offices. Today’s featured building is Clinton, Iowa. This is one large building with a long lobby.

Today also marks my first ever video of a post office. Because of the large size and interesting lobby I thought this would be the perfect time to test out a short film. In doing this I really hope to show you more of the building than just photographs.

I can’t begin to tell you how long I was waiting for the perfect shot of this building. Well, it never happened. At some point you just have to cut your losses and continue on. Just as I was waiting for that last car to move this red SUV stops in front of the entrance. The nerve of some people? Just kidding

Anyway, here is the newer Ottawa, IL post office. The original is down on main street which I’ll highlight another day.

Bynum Montana Post Office

Montana has a lot of what I would call newer post office buildings. Some great little old ones but most from this trip are the newer style buildings with the newer generic signage. Hey but at least it has a dedication plaque.
