Campo is near the southern terminus of the Pacific Crest Trail. So of course I had to stop and take a picture of it. I must stop here and thank my friend Joe for driving me to the start of the trail. Joe you have done so much for me and I really appreciate you coming out and hiking with me.

Notice the little facial hair in my picture. After about 6 months the beard really starts to show and the post offices I have farther north show this.

Blairsden/Greagle California Post Office

My initial visit to the Blairsden-Greagle post office was during my thru-hike of the Pacific Crest Trail. During the summer of 2010,while I was hiking my mother and aunt came out to visit. While we were driving around we stopped at this post office.

I find it really humorous to look back at these pictures now. I look like a homeless man unshaven with drab clothing. That is what it’s like when you are hiking. My beard had come in really well by the time I reached this point.

Belden California Post Office

Today is another post office from my 2010 Pacific Crest Trail collection. The PCT actually passes pretty close to this post office.  There is even a side trail from the trail down the hill to the post office. How much more convenient could you get for a hiker?

It really is a classic small town post office. Anyone else out there have any other stories of the Belden California Post Office? Did you stop here during your hike? Did you have a mail-drop sent here? How did that work out?
